Dumbbell Row Form Tips

1) Maintain Forearm Angle: Keep your forearms perpendicular to the floor, aiming for a 90-degree or wider angle between your upper arm and forearm, at the top of the movement. This helps reduce biceps involvement, keeping the focus on your back muscles.

2) Avoid Upper Body Twist: As you lift the dumbbell, keep your torso stable. Twisting creates momentum and can shift tension to your lower back instead of your lats.

3) Depress Your Shoulders: Keep your shoulders down to prevent engaging the traps. This ensures the lats bear most of the load.

4) Use a Curved Path: Pull the dumbbell in a smooth, curved path from the floor toward your waist. This optimizes the range of motion and targets the lats effectively.
